O HEDON

O HEDON

O Hedon,

how hungry we've become;

like animals naked in shame.

Fed with the tongues of apocalypse,

galloped down disordered worlds.

From word to words, led &

spanned over cultures.

Crimson masses, steeped in decadence

holding our tongues to the thirsty sun.

So, is the future still open?

(so tell me, tell me)

Then enter, O hornet,

from our hive-darkened hearts,

And draw down

the end from within.

Nihilist, Hedon

the priceless art of our lives

Sorrow is a wing laid atop our heads.

skin deep, we carve

our immeasurable sorrow,

in the fold of your shivering arms.

Now hungry we've become

Like animals naked in shame

Voracious wolfs Fed with apocalypse

O Hedon,

Your children are wild

and filled with death...

Death in our unforgiving eyes.

A pandemonium of bodies & gold.

Eager like sickness, let the blood run

Charging from androgynous wombs

( release the burden of pain)

Hedon,

in post-human shadows

a decaying monument

Is scorned by the teeth of time.

Stale-faced keeper of secrets!

loaded with implosive fire

We look at you,

afraid to see what we really are.

O HEDON
