Obligation and expectation often times will leave your life in a Rec
Doing with the majority says is right
and what those that count on you expect
Never being awarded the privilege to blindly follow one's heart
Leaves a cold soul and empty vessel
Searching and crying out for love in the dark
Is it selfish to live free and without regret
Or is it wrong to put self last
And do what others expect
