Today it's very chilly
The ducks and geese
Are acting so very silly
In the lake past the trees
One calls out to the other
Then two more scream
Soon its like an orchestra
Going south is the theme
Some of them stay behind
To grind it out in winter
The lake soon will freeze over
But a few just grin and snicker
