Ode to Compassion
I have opened my eyes
to see the evil inside
(I will rise inside !!!)
To free my mind
of Hatred & Deception
I will inscribe these
words to my Heart
I refuse to be
led by majority,
nonconformity inside
my inner self,
They can't take my dignity
I won't compromise
my hearts values
I will raise my
fist in defiance
Resist this deception
in the guise of this self-righteousness
My hope is hearing
comforting words of purpose
I take comfort
in these words
One day we will
burn down the system
in the grip of reason
(To embrace the mediator)
So much judgment & hatred
It's defaulted by design
The virus that infiltrates,
corrupted & coerced
It penetrates
Echoing the void
To disintegrate
I'm lookin for
evidence of the heart
We need something
To grow on, to go on.
For Belief in
the human soul

It’s time to take the stand
The twilight is bruised
And we sing songs
about the end of the world
I’ll cry tonight,
but in the morning
I’ll stand in the sun
& be as one
I’ll dry my eyes &
try to hold onto
a world that's
worth fighting for
(Compassion & forgiveness
plant the seeds of healing)
In this is the quest of life
see past the illusion
Slow down this
fast paced world
Collapse the control &
Break the foundation
Build a revolution
to heal nations
(It starts within)
In this search to satisfy,
truth is always deep inside
(reversal of oneself
To find the truth)
Find the strength
for a new movement
Form the acceptance
to embrace what we are
Assimilate all that is,
(Look on the inside)
Through the
loneliness & frustration,
depression & despair
we can find
retribution in love
In the belief of
love to overcome
(It wont be long)
