Ode to Life
My beloved Life,
wasn't often loved by me,
I used to blame and curse Life
for all the adversity she brought me.
I do hate her
for slapping me with bitter truth,
yet she stayed till I regained my composure
and digest the unfathomable truth.
She was often perceived as an enemy
and the loyal servant of fate,
but she's my faithful crony
and my choices construct my fate.
