O'er and O'er

Each day as the sun would rise,
I'd stretch and welcome the day.
Thanking God that I'm alive.
Get up, and be on my way.
Each night as the sun would descend,
The moon rise, to take its place,
Our words of forever would begin,
You'd pull me close, in your loving embrace.
Now as I watch the sun rise,
Still awake, from a sleepless night,
I curse ever ray of sunshine,
Cover my head, to blot out the light.
Each night as I see the sun go,
The moon begins to rise & mock,
My Heart breaks, the pain, tears flow,
I ask God...
"Lord, When will this Stop?"
