Clanging chains
and dancing chimes,
Singing birds,
and beasts of wild,
Rustling leaves,
and random shush,
That's what I witness
when I woke up,
Bound on a bench
of unknown woods,
I kicked and struggle,
shout and scream,
pleading someone for little help
but none happened
except my voice,
of yelling course,
became quite hoarse.
Then came a lady dressed in green,
a lovely nymph all over but one thing,
on her face, a menacing smile,
I was stunned, taken aback
but later plead of her aid,
Then she spoke of a shocking news,
She was the guardian of the woods!
She took me, no, abduct
To pay for all my trespasses
Of cutting trees for printing press
And not one time
I dare to scribe
A thankful rhyme of all fallen woods
Sacrificed for all my muse.
And so she drew a sword
Ready to thrust on my chest,
Just then I heard a voice,
"Wake up! Wake up! you're having a nightmare."
Thank God, it's but a dream
But the lesson I carry within
Be thankful of the fallen woods,
The heroes of scribes of words!
