Winter winds
From the west;
Lock the windows
You know best.
Snow came knocking
Early this year;
Cold and alone,
my heart, familiar.
Bricks bind
The crevice
Of my heart;
Lost in Venice.
Tip toe
you came;
Bringing warmth
Bright than flame.
Carried the key
To my heart;
Showing that
It's just the start.
A splendid adventure,
Two scarlet roses,
Three love songs,
And he proposes.
Bricks that bound
The crevice of my heart
Were now healed
On his terrace.
Winter winds
From the west;
Unlock the windows
You know best.
