Why is it that I can't get way
From the thought of you
You are not like others
My eyes see you all in perfection
I know you deserve to perch on someone's tree
A tree much much better than in my garden
But deep in my heart I can't let you fly away
And to sojourn on someone else's tree
Am I to self possessed and greedy
To let you stay in my garden
Knowing that I'm not worthy to be your soul tree.
Oh dear Butterfly!
Say that you won't fly away
Perched on someone's tree
Oh how I wish you stay and beautify my garden
That each sunrise I see you and get refresh
With thy sweet fragrance and odour
Would I be possessive and greedy
To say, be mind and lighten my garden of life
If only the answer is affirmative
How grateful and lucky would I be
But they are all wishes
Take your time to decide
