Oh where did the Bluebells go nobody knows anymore They we're so pretty to look at and they covered the hillside behind my back door
They brought the bees that made the honey Which we collected to make money
Dont you just love to watch the bees One day I followed them oh I was sly but I found that honey tree
Now bees don't like you taking their honey
I used to get stung awful alot it was not very funny
Now I sold my honey by the pound Poeple used to come from miles all around
Oh where did the Bluebells go nobody knows anymore They we're so pretty to look at and they covered the hillside behind my back door
With the Bluebells gone the bees went away No more bees no more honey no more money I cried that day
The fragrance of Bluebelles could help ease your pain and make it go away It's aroma had healing properties that would heal you at any time of day
Now the hillside behind my back door is barren ground and pain is back so bad I can't move around
Oh where did the Bluebells go nobody knows anymore They we're so pretty to look at and they covered the hillside behind my back door
If you're out and about and you happen to come across some Bluebelles please tell them to come home please door to the hillside behind my back door
