Ol' St Nick

Ol' St. Nick came upon our house late last night.
Not a noise he did not make.
He laid out the presents for each of us with such care.
Not to make a sound, for knowing what a chatter would cause,
It bring the whole house upright.
Surely he would have such a quandary.
For then the boy would be on Snapping to his friends how he had,
Ol' St. Nick on camera what a sight that would be.
The old man is shoving cookies in his mouth,
As mother sweeping crumbs under the carpet,
For there shall be no evidence of the Ol' Jolly St. Nick,
Who came and visit upon our house late last night.
