Old Dogs Need Loving To
I have traveled on many roads carrying goods from here to there sometimes with heavy loads
I been searching for so long a place that I felt I truely belonged
I always traveled alone on the highway Could never find anyone that wanted to stay
Now time is cruel because tyme is running out on me and I'm running out of fuel my tank is on empty you see
Even olds dogs need loving too they won't runnaway but will stand by you all they need is a little loving too
They are proud and loyal and true The still have a few tricks that will surprise you
Old dogs they only want to be needed not used they surely don’t deserve to be abused
Old dogs shouldn’t have to work so hard They should be able to just sit back and play cards
With old friends and family laughing and having fun Not alone without anyone to talk to or a sweetheart to call Hun

Don't let a few wrinkles and Loss of some hair Frighten you We love to talk even if we don’t know you sit a spell grab a chair
You might learn a thing or two if you just open those ears but old dogs know that most people don’t have a clue
