they carried us on our backs
helped us unpack
left foot prints in the dirt
we rode many miles
we rode from old west to the south
the horse gave us companion ship
some we set free and others we
kept for company
the horse inspired us
helped the settlers. cross the prairie
they remind us daily how to trust
and remind us what freedom realy was
