At a Caribbean nation
As an American
Enjoying myself with my man
Wearing my thong
Listening to a popular rappers song
Laying down
Enjoying the sound
Of rap
To the point I give the singer a clap
But yet deep inside I feel annoyed
I feel a void
In my soul
I don't feel whole
I was just puzzled why

With a phone in it's pocket playing gospel
That I suddenly got gravitated to
With a song playing
Saying
"Jesus is the answer for the world today!"
I had nothing to say
Because I felt God's presence
Everything started to make sense
These things couldn't satisfy me

The devil lied
