Listening to zydeco,
Puerto Rican born in mexico
Waves at her.

Her to press on even on the verge
of quitting. Her hope re-emerges,
Euphoria surges,
Despair submerges
Into a deep abyss.
Once a stranger, not anymore,
Her mindset not like before,
His wise words, an outpour,
The more
he writes, the more
she learns.
