He looked so real and was my best friend
He follows me with his stares straight
With my hand created smile, he smiled
He makes my jokes look funnier
No one really likes my presence
But the snowman loved my presence
He didn't leave when the night crept in
He pleaded for me to stay and play
I wanted to make his wish mine
But winter falls made it impossible
I wished to take him with me home
To have him in our backyard and see him through the window
I felt so bad to see his smile wrinkle
Yet I left him and went home
I woke up with the dawn of summer
I rushed to check on my best friend
But he was gone. He left me with a memory to cherish.
