Don't be that guy whose charming, loving and broken in two.
Be that man who stands up tall and knows what he's talking about, be that man with complete confidence, through and through.
Don't come into my life and be hopeless, cause I will just think your a beautiful mistake.
Be real to my face and more behind my back that way we have a chance not to break.
I wanted to fall in love, so I held you tight, kissed your lips, and it felt so damn right.
But, doing that I gave you mixed signals for what I want and need tonight.
It couldn't be what you would even imagine, so I know what I would be doing would not be right.

Shortly after a time or two, winds blew.
I looked for a safe place, there was none next to you.
All I remember about you, is your touch and your scent.
But, it got washed away with the rain, and all I remember of you is the pain.
Where have all the good times gone?
