One Step

It is dark and cold,
She isn’t that bold,
Loneliness is slowly kicking,
She needs saving,
'cause she is all alone and confined,
She yearns to be visible,
But the opacity of her darkness makes her invisible,
She wants to utter,
but it doesnt matter,
'cause she is all alone and confined.
She desires to clutch,
but there is nothing to touch,
She longs to see,
but is blinded by a self-hate sea,
'cause she is all alone and confined.
She needs to smell,
but everything is odorless in the cell,
She wants to taste,
but it is all tasteless. What a waste,
'cause she is all alone and confined.
She listens in the emptiness,
to the sound of her loneliness,
She has become melancholic,
that's tragic,
'cause she is all alone and confined.
All she has to do is take a stride without dread,
A single step out of her head,
Would change her life ahead,
She could see the beauty of nature,
She could touch. Feel the texture,
She could hear a call,
She could speak up her mind and stand up for all,
She could smell success or danger,
She could love and be loved by a stranger,
She could walk the journey of eternity,
She could do it all beyond her vicinity,
All it takes is,
One step.
