I

Only July

Slick with my sweat, all over my neck.
Fall to the floor, and puddles do form.
Pressed to the ice and get up; no dice.
Frozen by salt, more than withdrawal.
Electroluminescent lights, bleach my skin of electrolytes, and burn away the parasites, while cooking flesh to greater heights.
Water vapors touch my skin, the chill Is temporary bliss, the heat is ringing through my ears, it's vaporizing all my tears.
I'm sick of the sun, up in the sky.
It's far from done, it's only July.
Too hot to be, this cool all the time.
Too hot to give up, too warm to try.
