As the Passover lamb
Many times this has been spoken
The sacrificial lamb
Must not have a bone broken,
Our lamb of God
As He breathed His las'
Now the Passover
Was to come, to pass,
His side was pierced
With a Roman spear
Out came the water
An' blood we hold dear,
A prophecy made
A prophecy come
That Jesus was our lamb
Is now doubted by none,
As the Passover lamb
Foretold in Exodus
Jesus shed blood n' water
For each of us.
