"God's Hood"
It's another day in the hood
Turned out better than good
Just like I knew it would
Another day in God's hood,
There is little rhyme or reason
A change of the season
With God life can be pleasing
With a lot of rhythm and reason,
By Christ I am sanctified
No longer to be denied
Without Him alone I cried
By His blood I'm justified,
I praise the day I found the Lord
Of His Word I'll not get bored
His blessings I will not hoard
I'm thankful I found the Lord,
Twas another day in the hood
With the Lord it turned out good
Better than I knew it would
Another day in God's Hood.
