Origins...
If I could hold the stars,
would the sky embrace me?
Maybe not in this life but somewhere in another,
Somewhere among thousands of galaxies,
A constellation would remember me,
The way i held the wonder in my eyes
as I looked above,
As I tried to reach them, but fell short,
Maybe in a different life,
I might hold them close,
And if the winds forget my name,
Would the leaves remember my touch?
Or will I become history,
a slowly fading memory...
My heart recognizes this sky,
the moon, the stars,
My blood holds the dust of something
I wouldn't dare to name,
Something capable of altering
the design of the entire world,
Something capable of consuming me whole,
And maybe it will be for the best,
For then I would be a part of the galaxies,
Beyond the life we live,
beyond the life we imagine...
A heart full of hope
and a body meant
to return to its origins...
