Loving families smother
Depressed onlookers watch as their rivals leave
A boy crippled and shy watches in awe
Seeking the love and compassion of a mother and father
He begs and pleads
Believing no one wants a defective child
Sulking in the corner
Another day older
Chances dwindling for his ideal family
A newly wedded couple enters minutes before closing
With excitement they come
Craving affection the boy holds tightly
The orphan is now the son he has always dreamed to be
