Our old man.
I one whom consequence influence much .
planted in bond in likeness of his death and resurrection.
for our old man is buried with ,that sin might be destroyed.
Sin a neighbor from another world not such? .
residing in human knot to yielding objection.
to heed list and reign mortal list deployed.
Grace as surface of water .
Whose in ward none kind ever known as miracle that in every lifeEnsconcing our selves into sin submit to facinerious spirit .
debile power , principalities of world then mock Grace.
Line 1-3: the poet persona once sees the beauty of Grace , comparing the potential of to the power of resurrection and death of Christ. This is allusion to the death and resurrection of Christ in Galatians (death where is thy power) this is allusion to how the Grace is then until the poet persona commit sin( our old man) a metaphor which ruined his life .
