T

Out comes the mask

She carries her head up high
When she walks in a room.
With all his sinful lies
She decides to leave him in the month of June.
Miscalculated endeavours is what she had learned.
A love so true is what she has yearned.
Maybe someday when the time is right a gentleman will sweep her off her feet.
But right now its dead beat boyfriends on repeat.
She wipes her eyes
Of all his painful lies.
And drags her losses to the past.
Until she feels herself again, out comes her mask.
