People can stare all they like,
it makes no difference to me.
They can’t tell me what to do.
I’ll never be who they want me to be.
It makes them feel better
if I tell them how much I disagree.
They need a little attention.
Well they’re not getting it from me.
They tell me how to live my life
but they can’t even run their own.
I wish they’d just mind their own business
and leave me alone.
I don’t have to justify myself.
I’m going to stand my ground.
I don’t see the big deal.
So what if I’m fooling around?
If I get them out of my hair,
that’ll be the day.
All I know is this is my life
and I’m going to live it my way
