Out through the window

_She looked out through her window
Facing east, the sun had not set
Her love was still away, she had to wait
Two three months had passed, they were now eight
Her bed neatly spread, everything well set
The sunset held most of their memories
Pillow fights, cuddles, playing between sheets
She wished for it once more
A spark of those moments, one more
He was away, she had to wait
On a voyage far across the sea
Lie close to his chest, feel his arms around her
Calm at heart, knowing it's only her
Bring something along, be with her
