Hole in the Ozone layer.
Ozone is triatomic oxygen that is concentrated mainly in the upper portions of the stratosphere. Diatomic molecules of oxygen are concentrated in the troposphere, and monatomic molecules of oxygen (O) are found in the outer edges of the atmosphere.
Although the amount of ozone present in the stratosphere is not great, its presence is vital to life on Earth’s surface.
