Inflicted by different forms of pain
But still self harm
Looking their faces you wouldn't see their wounds
All of their scars are hidden underneath clothing and skin
He's ignored
She's abused
If they knew they'd still criticize because they only value their pain
That was years ago
Now he has a wife, kids, an overall nice life
And she's dead
It's important to understand everyone has pain
Everyone has suffered
And everyone has gone through hardships
Whoever you are, wherever you are
Pain is our strongest link as humans but it's also many people's biggest burdens
I know it's one of mine
