although they said that I deserved it

But I couldn't understand why the people
The people that I called friends

The people that I cherished
The people....
The people, they decided to leave me when the pain was so intense
So intense for me to bare
Why did they choose to abandon me,when I needed them most
When I thought I could always count on them
When I thought that they would give me a shoulder to cry on
a rock to lean on
An ear to listen....
The pain taught me one thing
Even loved ones can desert you when you need them the most
The pain taught me to avoid getting attached
The pain made me stronger and bolder
The pain taught me to fend for myself in a pack full of wolves
Wolves who were more than ready to pounce on me
And leave my soul for the angel of death
The pain it is.....
