I am used to this pain,
I feel it everytime,
But every moment that I went through,
It weakens this body of mine.
My heart can't take it anymore,
Nor can my mind.
I strive to stay strong,
By acting like I'm totally fine.
There are no effective cure,
To treat this excruciating pain,
That leaves me hopeless towards life,
And gripping me tight with vain.
There are moments when,
I could rest from having to strain,
But never did I breathe in relief,
Because I know I'll be hurt once again.
