Pain of Goodbye

Hurting all round clenching to my faith tight
I allowed myself to fall to let go but with caution
To have loss, to feel alone, to be alone in my sorrow
Not knowing what to do but look up to the heavens above drops to knees and screams save me Father
To give support, to give advice, to be that shoulder
To give..slip and fall and have gotten back up time and time again
To have seen the sun rise before and now still waiting
Hanging, lurking in the darkness hoovering over me laughing
Like something's funny, and you've realized maybe you've been forcing it all along
Though at first seemed, is, was genuine just to the play the role of the fool yet again
Again I look, I look to the stars and wish it were different
It were different when you've given all you can
