In sweet Trinidad,
It saddened my heart,
Thing getting so bad,
No respect for mother,
No respect for daughter,
Not a word comes out,
From the nations leaders,
Only" I'm sorry for your lost".
Gone are the days,
We respected each other,
Now we turn a blind eye,
Towards a sister and brother,
Even our mother and father,
Tragedy!!!!!,
No longer are we,
Each other protector,
No one cares for respect,
All they want murder,
Where has the love gone,
God seems far,
Satan seems closer.
Stop being divided,
Stand by each other,
Stop listening to politicians,
Their bag of lies,
Put all the race issues aside,
We will surely rise,
Take a stand!!!!!,
Be your neighbor's protector,
Bring back the love we,
We lost from each other,
Else everyday in the newspaper,
One more Shannon ,
One more ria.
Why? Cause we turned a blind eye.
We forgot our scripture,
Be each other keeper, protector, love and respect one another.
Because and eye for a eye only makes the world blind!!!!!!.
