We're told to avoid pain
At first it kinda smart
So we'd do what we did again,
Growing older a new
Pain has arrive
It's the pain of heartache
That some barely survive.
My first heartache was
Easy to recover from
When older holding my heart out
The pain became an exponential sum.
When you feel real heartache
You try to play it cool
Later when love's more serious
You become a tool,
A tool to boss around
A tool working for nought
You really try to be happy
Happy for all you've got,
To avoid heartaches pain
There first must be trust
I mean how you trust someone
You see trust's not lust.
Maybe you can find one
Where trust comes with the heart
You are one of the lucky one's
I pray your love and you never part.
