Borne out of the soil
Got thick skins
Believed in culture and kept everything the way nature made them
Crafts made by us like we were taught from above
Beautified everything surrounding us with gifts of nature
Till humans from the other side explored our world
On seeing what we were given, exploited us💔
Enticed our fathers😢
And left us with things that caused us damages for years
Like it wasn't enough, they became our lords
Enslaved us💔
Now, we've lost everything
Our culture slowly died in our hands
Now, we value no language of our own
Clothed in that of a white🤦🏼♂
Stripped ourselves off our complexion, like it was our only solace from racism
We slowly strangled our GIANT😭
