I always wanted Paradise,
A place of beauty and grace,
Where troubles and sorrows wouldn't suffice,
And joy would light up every face.
A place of endless sunshine,
Where the skies are always blue,
Where the air is always fine,
And the flowers always renew.
A place of peaceful serenity,
Where the gentle breeze would blow,
And the sounds of birds and harmony,
Would lull me to and fro.
A place where love would reign,
And kindness would abound,
Where every soul would feel no pain,
And happiness would surround.
I always wanted Paradise,
A place of eternal bliss,
Where life would be a paradise,
And nothing would go amiss.
Though this world may fall short,
And troubles may still arise,
I'll keep searching for that perfect resort,
And never give up my quest for Paradise.
