Parents
Tensions overflowing in their mind
Their adoration undefined,
The tenderness for their heart
Values of moral ethic they want to impart,
Like the sun and the moon
During childhood for us the croon,
Sacrificing their basic needs
Reprimanding for our misdeeds,
Acting as a guiding light
Hope in our lives they ignite,
Destroying every bit of darkness
Filling our life with happiness,
Working for our well being day and night
Even if they are not alright,
Tears bleeding from their eyes
Their sorrows with happiness they disguise,
They are God in mortal form
Leading us away from storm,
Lighting up the enlightening way
Fighting with their inner consciousness everyday,
Sending us for a better education
Their heart full of affection,
They are a rare precious gem
Granting us the power to stop mayhem.
