Parents are overrated

This is not for human eyes to see
Just the ones who gave birth to me :
The ones who were supposed to be there
But you weren't
You just walked in and out of my life
I was a curtain
Easlily pushed out of the way
And disgarded so you could live a “better” life
Better meaning all the drugs you put into your body
So you can feel better
Maybe your fix was greater than your love for me
Dad,
when you got out of prision you wanted a job
But, a LONG time ago your job was to stay
Stay with your daughter
Not go out and smoke pot
You've lived your life in a prision cell
And that mentality has build up over the years
That's why you act like this
It's either lollipops or bleeding skulls
Mom,
There are two sides to every story
But also two sides of this one human
The one that loves, and the one that hates
But I don't know which one is sitting with me near the dinner plates
She says I use her and dont see her as family
how could I when you weren't there for me
I thought I knew you but did I really
I guess you don't truly know what they think until they scream it to your face
But anyway, I persevere through the day
make it so noone can stand in my way
Life is a journey
Take it slow and dont abuse it
You are unique and you should use that
To the advantage of you
Not a fault but a wrinkle in the story
The pages dont read clear so that's why I worry
My grandma says she knows im angery,
Angery is when my dad lied to me about never going back there
I’m straight up pissed,
Angry was simply a sign that I passed on the freeway while
drinking a coke, and no it's not the type that you smoke, snort, do whatever
I can’t trust my parents to be there for me, now or ever
