Passion Worths

Time waits for no one,
You'll be left behind.
The race can't be won,
But you'll surely be alright.
Try, fall, get up, rinse, repeat;
That's all that you can do.
You can't run on love's heat,
Passion will leave you fooled.
You're a wingless soar,
They, the soundless roar.
You try to be as good as them,
But your soul begs no more.
Expectations, hopes and dreams;
They've taken away your days.
Your tears, your fears, your screams,
They've all piled into weights.
What does talent even do;
When life cared for none?
If passion earns not for you,
Your hopes are good as done.
Who cares if you strive for peace
When your dreams don't rain money?
Who will wait for your tears to cease
When sadness brings no pennies?
