Pause before the rain
I dream where the sky is too dark to wish,
Rustling leaves speak a strange language to me,
They murmur their secrets, as old as time,
Thoughts so sacred, longing to shine,
My eyes find the solace in the hush of the storms,
They gently hold me close cradling me in their arms,
My heart beats faster as the winds rush by,
Calling out for me, with a soulful sigh,
The lightening strikes etched in my heart,
They paint pictures above, a glorious art,
As I adore the sky, light falls on my face,
I close my eyes imagining their intricate lace,
The breeze gently tugs on my sleeve so soft,
Walking together as we wander and talk,
The hush in the air before rain on the ground,
Is where my soul resides... forever bound...
