They thought he had the whole world at his feet,
But everyday drew closer his journey below the surface of the earth six feet,

With that smile no one would have perceived,
He was a good pretender always laughing on the screen,
Who would have thought that one day we would all be saying RIP,
Whose fault is it,
I wish they paid attention,searched that smile so they could see your grief,
I wish they paid attention to your laughter so they could see those invisible tears that ran down your cheek,
You played that role so well we all got deceived,
Nobody knew what was happening in your head neither did we see,
But you paid attention to the things that mattered like family,
The ones who laid next to you when you sleep,
Playing and having fun with your colleagues,
You paid attention to the things above the sky and beneath,
You told people about God I hope your resting with him,
I wish the serpent never deceived Eve,
I guess all those who left us would have been here waiting for Christmas eve.
