Scouting the borderlines of parched land, all in the masterplan to pinpoint apparitions in the sand. Wander far from home again, I once made it as far as you, but you froze. Here comes the signal again, like an old best friend, I always felt that way. So far from clear, you can tell her from here, salty dripping tears, I’ve heard your truth, the story is far from new. Bating the land the encapsulate that which doesn’t belong under the sand.
With just one flick of this mix, dropped on the borderline, peaceful furs crawling out from under, it cracks just as loud as thunder. I fail to wonder the epic splendour, so I completely surrender. Poisoned by furs that spikes it’s a curse, deep into a horse-drawn hearse, free for all to rehearse, but if I can spell one word, forgiveness is the spell that shall break the curse.
Arms wave through the sand, like white snakes drowning deep in the land. Before I can sit and appraise, I step away and tend to garden in my morning gaze. My hands are shaking, I’m coffee craving, the morning sun is rising, I’ve no need for lying, there’s nothing worth buying to save my soul from death. I write a message to you, in a bottle for you, buried deep from you.
I was digging in the sea, I had to dive deep underwater, one breath at a time I inch ever closer to what’s inevitably mine, dig deep with a twist of your hip, grasp firm with a good grip, as you yank with your fist, exposing a crystal ship, take from which the map you intend to stitch, making your own way out from the reeds, remember no amount of good deeds will appease a creator’s needs.
Firm step out of the sea, a message to send over 500 miles from me. Don’t waste time trying to pray, there’s far more at stake than a deviant handshake. The fist shifts with an insidious twitch, it hits like an itch with no way to reach. Earth is all but bleached, and no prepared speech, arms moving like a snake, floundering in the dry lake, make no mistake, I harbour no hate, I only wanted a trusted mate.
