my tears flourished and watered my fears
the innocence I nurtured for long was defiled today
they stood and watched me unravel my agony
the subtle steps they took was all for a coin
a mere dollar sign did a dear friend get sold

has been snatched and sacrificed on the altar of lust
Lord! please wake me from this dream
Lord! please hide me from this shame
What pain my hand refuted, my legs did bring
