B

Pen is mightier.

I hold a pen now, instead of you, and I think,
Of all the words we shared, in love and despair,
The pages filled with tales, both joyous and bleak,
But now, I wonder, were they enough to repair?
Maybe I was wrong, to think that you were the key,
To unlock the doors that held me captive and bound,
To set my soul free and help me to see,
A new dawn rising, a world without frown.
But now, I see, that the pen in my hand,
Holds the power to heal, to forgive, and to mend,
To create a new path, where I can stand,
And find my way, to a brighter end.
For words are magic, they have a way,
To touch the heart, to soothe the pain,
To make us believe, that come what may,
We can rise again, and love again.
So, I hold this pen, with gratitude and glee,
For it has shown me, a new destiny,
One where I write my story, with clarity,
And find the strength, to be the best version of me.
