A

Perfect

If asked what sunset means in my life
I'll say, it shows how my life came to dive
It was never easy nor entirely a trife
But it, being bright and vibrant is a lie.
Reminiscing the past, makes me feel dire
Everyone thinks I'm a big catch, Am I?
I smile like and act like a queen, Oh I dare!
For I am but of puppet of a perfect lair.
Nobody knows I'm a perfect liar!
I shouldered fake happiness I can't bear
Having perfection the only thing I can share
All my life I live knowing it's unfair.
Is this what it meant to be a love child?
Being a substitute of ones who are wild
Being a puppet for them not to be riled
Is this really living? Now, I'm fed up!
Throwing a life of perfection
Over a life of satisfaction.
That's my chosen option
And I will keep on going on.
