Period Strength and Honor

Once every month, without fail,
A woman's body begins to ail,
Her period arrives, bringing pain,
A monthly cycle, not in vain.
Society tells her to hide away,
To avoid religious acts, and not to play,
But she soldiers on, with strength and grace,
Her body bleeding, but keeping pace.
She doesn't need to hide in shame,
Her period is natural, not a game,
It keeps her healthy, disease at bay,
Bringing calmness to her every day.
Though she may suffer, this is true,
Her period is vital, and gets her through,
The red she bleeds, a part of her life,
A sign of her strength and internal strife.
She is not alone, and never will be,
Women around the world, they'll agree,
Their periods come, and they push through,
Every day, their strength anew.
So let us honor the power and might,
Of the women who bleed, every month in sight,
Their strength and resilience, we must embrace,
And celebrate them, in every place.
