In every curve and sway, I find my strength,
A woman, powerful and free, at length,
My arms outstretched, my hips a steady beat,
A stride so bold, my lips poised to greet.
I am phenomenal, this much I know,
A force to be reckoned with, let it show,
My history is rich, my heritage strong,
I stand on the shoulders of those who came along.
With every step I take, I pave the way,
For those who will come after, on this day,
I am a woman, bold and unafraid,
A spirit unbroken, a foundation laid.
So let the world hear me, let them see,
This phenomenal woman, that's me,
For in my reach, my span, my stride,
Lies the power of a woman, deep inside.
Happy Women's History Month, to one and all,
May we stand tall, may we never fall,
For we are the backbone of this world,
A force to be reckoned with, unfurled.
