Philosophy with a 13 year old.

This is not really a poem
It may not have the flow of some of em.
But, I promise you, your mind will be blown.
I want you to think about a cell.
A human cell, specifically.
It knows its job within the body.
It knows what it's supposed to be doing
But it is not conscious enough to realize it is making up a human body.
We might be the same way.
How egotistical to think that we are the superior consciousness
What if our jobs are making up something bigger than us?
And we just arent concious enough?
Speaking of this,
if we assume that technology keeps advancing the same way it does
we will be able to develop a computer powerful enough to run the human conscience.
If this is so, relatively speaking, people in the future already have this.
So what if the people in the future created a simulation to simulate what it would be like in the past?
I mean compare it to us,
This society loves to learn about history
And there is no doubt that we would do the same thing if the opportunity presented it to us
Thank you for reading.
