Coughing and sneezing.
Chesty.Wheezing.
Nose running endlessly.
Tissues torn to shreds.
Eyes watering.weeping.
Hardly sleeping.
And all I want is to
Go back to bed.
Throat sore and tickling.
Dry and itching.
Food difficult to swallow.
Chest feeling tight.
Hot and sweating.
Continually fretting.
Throughout the day.
Throughout the night.
All at once I'm heaving.
Barely breathing.
Choking and feeling
The need to be sick.
Unable to hold down from within
Whatever's gone in.
Bringing it back up just as quick.
All of a sudden I spout
Something green out.
And want to cry tears of relief.
But before too long
The feeling has gone.
Becoming way,way too brief.
