Photographs in Memory: Where Deja Vu Sings

Photographs in Memory: Where Deja Vu Sings
Why does Déjà Vu song hold such searing pain?
Each line wraps around me, cuts like rain—
It aches my heart so sharp and deep,
I cling to the wind, where the emptiness I keep.

I walk through nights alive with noise and faces,
Eyes scanning crowds for one familiar place—his.
The old song hums behind my every step,
Why does his ghost refuse to leave my chest?

His memory lingers still—in thought, in palm,
Each scene flashes fast, yet holds like calm.
I see his smile that soothed my darkest days;
I feel that rain that kissed the ground, his hand in mine always.

No words were said—we knew our love was real,
He stood by me when storms refused to heal.
But life moves on, and love can’t stall its pace;
Our future hung like clouds in distant space.

I have so much to say, but time won’t turn around—
I let our fates drift where the currents bound.
The song remains unsung, for tears I can’t release…
I carry all the pain, to finally find my peace...🌘✨01182026 ©LanZhan
